Lucien Zayan visited Brooklyn from France in 2008 and fancied a particular space in the Boerum Hill neighborhood. Specifically, this building once manufactured “invisible dogs” — stiff leashes that kids used to trick siblings and friends into thinking that it was actually an invisible dog. The old novelty toy factory is now home to a multipurpose art space that shows anything from 3-dimensional grass sculptures, to a painting made with belts left in the building.
