Rabbi Baruch Lebovitz will serve up to 32 years after he was sentenced this afternoon to the maximum on eight counts of a criminal sexual act in the third degree. The disgraced rabbi will serve the sentences of one and a third to four years on each count consecutively for sexually abusing a then-16-year-old boy in 2004 and 2005.
The victim, 22, testified that the rabbi lured him into his car under the pretense of driving lessons but then sexually assaulted him.
