And Daniel has made a choice worth $3 million

The New York Times has reported that Daniel Goldstein, the last man standing in front of the Atlantic Yards bulldozer, has stepped aside selling his condo on Pacific Street in Prospect Heights to Forest City Ratner, the developer of Atlantic Yards, for $3 million.

Goldstein was the founder of the anti-Atlantic Yards group “Develop Don’t Destroy Brooklyn” and a plaintiff in numerous unsuccessful suits against the $4.9 billion project.

Goldstein had bought his condo in 2003 for $590,000.
