Update: Trial Postponed for Woman in Traffic Cop Foot Case

The Brooklyn mom who claims she is a victim of mistaken identity in an incident where she allegedly ran over the foot of a traffic cop must wait another two months for her trial, according to the New York Daily News.

Chila Lati, allegedly ran over a traffic agent’s foot in Sheepshead Bay after the agent attempted to ticket her. However, Lati claims that she is not guilty and that it was not her car that ran over the traffic agent’s foot. She claims that the crime was committed by another woman who goes by the same name, and who happens to be a relative.
