Police yesterday questioned a NYC firefighter whose car killed a Brooklyn man in a hit and run, amNewYork reports.

The firefighter, Pat Quagliariello, turned himself in at the 62nd Precinct to identify the vehicle that killed 25 year old  Manuel Tzajguachiac, at the corner of 65th Street and 20th Avenue at 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

Tzajguachiac was struck as he was crossing the street, and Quagliariello’s SUV raced off before it was located by police several hours later. Tzajguachiac was pronounced dead upon arrival at Lutheran Hospital.

Quagliariello is not a suspect, but is involved in the investigation, police said.
