Actor Michael Brea allegedly stabbed his mother to death with a samurai sword in his Prospect Heights apartment. At 2:20 a.m. police at the 77 Precinct responded to 911 phone calls for help from the home on 501 Park Place. Brea’s mother, Yannick, 55-years-old, was pronounced dead on the scene, with multiple stab wounds all over her body and decapitated, according to The Gothamist. Brea, 31, is currently at Kings County Hospital undergoing psychiatric evaluation after reportedly being found at the scene citing passages from the Bible.
