Prescription Discount Program Makes Big Savings for New Yorkers

BigAppleRx, the medication discount card that was launched this past May, has been a success amongs New Yorkers who can use it to earn money on prescription drugs. The card can be used at participating stores, including Walmart, Target, CVS and other pharmacies where accepted.

Savings have been estimated at around $ 1.5 million. Manhattan and Brooklyn are the boroughs that have used this card the most, with a combined savings total of $857.245. According to the Department of Health, anyone who lives, works or even visits New York can use this card. Savings in purchases can range between 15 and 53%.
