People who frequent the Dekalb market on Flushing Avenue, between Willoughby and Fleet Streets, will have more stands to visit starting Saturday. Thirty vendors will join the market, including a Jacques Torres chocolatier, Australian meat pies and clothes shops from local designers. Since it was opened in July, the market has included amongst its stores a cupcake place, coffee and sandwiches stores and even a radio station.
Within the next few weeks, visitors will also be able to join in the “incubator kitchens”. Here, beginner chefs will be able to take cooking classes next to the vegetable gardens.
