Politicians in Brooklyn Want to Save an Old Rotting Brownsville Police Stationhouse

Congressman Ed Towns and other local politicians in Brownsville are trying to save a former police stationhouse that’s been left to rot on a Brownsville street.  The old 65th precinct, which was later used as the 73rd precinct at 1546 East New York Avenue, has not been poorly maintained since it was purchased eight years ago by the nonprofit Family Services Network of New York.
