Parents, students, and faculty marched for more protection from gun violence, outside of Success Academy Charter School in Bedford-Stuyvesant today. Gunfire on the streets has disrupted five out of eight school days this month so far.
“When we hear shots we stop learning and have to get as far away from the windows as possible,” one child said at the rally. “I don’t want to get shot.”
