This weekend runners descended on Brooklyn for the New York City Marathon. Our very own Xin Hui Lim took photos of the race, and they’ll be posted soon. Geoffrey Mutai wins the men’s division. [via The New York Times]
Sid Melton, an actor from “Make Room for Daddy” and “Green Acres” and a Brooklyn local, passed away last Wednesday. He was 94. [via The New York Times]
Reverend Theauther, 87, was struck and killed by a cop car on Eastern Parkway between Dean Street and Bergen Streets. He was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital. [via New York Post]
