Teen running for Borough Park city councilman removed from ballot

Eighteen year-old Abraham Tischler, hoping to become the City Council’s youngest member, was removed from the race – to fill City Councilman Simcha Felder’s vacated seat – because the Board of Elections found that many of Tischler’s petition signatures came from outside the district or were improperly dated, according to The Daily News.
