New York Governor David A Paterson is under fire for accepting free Yankees World Series Tickets, then tying about it under oath, and now faces a criminal investigation.
Paterson asked for five free tickets, worth $6000, from the Yankees.

After the allegations surfaced, embattled Governor then testified he had planned to pay for the seats, behind home plate, and submitted a backdated check.
Paterson continues to reject calls for his resignation. “The best thing for me is to remain governor,” he said at a press conference.

“I don’t think that I’ve done anything wrong.”
