Residents living in Bensonhurst, Borough Park and Midwood take to the polls today to fill the empty 44th district city council seat. Today’s three-way runoff is between Joe Lazar, David Greenfield and Kenneth Rice to fill the seat vacated by Simcha Felder after he was appointed to deputy comptroller for budget and accounting by the newly elected comptroller by John Liu.
