The polls in Sunset Park experienced low voter turnout for today’s city council special election. There have been 29 residents to cast their vote since the polls opened at 6 a.m. at PS 160. Low numbers have been reported at other polls throughout the district. Voters have until 9 p.m. this evening when the polls close. We’ll have more from Sudip Mukherjee later today.
