The ground is broken on the Atlantic Yards building project, but not everyone’s come to terms. A mystery protestor had his say today, hacking into a sign on Flatbush Avenue and giving the proverbial middle finger to developer Bruce Ratner. As one resident pointed out, it’s kind of funny, but then think of the children.
Just as interesting is how various media outlets handled the unprintable story. The Post went with a nice ” F–” but didn’t print the photo. Classy as always, the Times made it sound like a surprise traffic jam had mysteriously occurred. The blogs, meanwhile, were all over it, no holds barred. Most hilariously of all, NY1 boldly filmed the sign, but blurred out the information needed for it to make sense.
