Don’t Pave Paradise

Community members are gathering opposition to Brooklyn College’s plans to replace most of the 14-year-old Campus Road Community Garden, in Ditmas Park, with a parking lot. They’ve also started a petition, which already has 205 signatures. Cue the Joni Mitchell, please.

Court to hear Evidence Against Accused Craigslist Robbers

The pre-trial hearing for two of the men accused of luring people with Craigslist ads for iphones and then robbing them at gunpoint begins today in the Brooklyn Criminal Court.
