Red Hook to host Governer’s Island ferry landing?

In the wake of the city’s upcoming acquisition of Governer’s Island, on Friday the Governors Island Preservation and Education Corp. will set aside $3.2 million to begin preliminary planning for two ferry landings: one on the 172-acre island, and the other in Red Hook.
