Four Brooklyn Foodies have been chose as vendors to open this summer at Pier 1 of Brooklyn Bridge Park, reports Crain’s New York.
They are eatery Ditch Plains, Pier 66 Maritime’s seasonal wine bar, Mexican-style food fare Calexico Carne Asada and Brooklyn-based Blue Marble Ice Cream.
“The park is shaping up to be a truly spectacular New York City landmark, and it’s an honor to be selected as one of its first vendors,” said Jesse Vendley, co-owner of Calexico Carne Asada, in a statement. “As proud Brooklynites, we’re thrilled by the prospect of serving our food in the shadow of the borough’s greatest symbol—the Brooklyn Bridge.”
