Up On the Rooftop, Greens and Corn

The Huffington Post has a piece today about a hefty (nearly one acre) rooftop farm in Long Island City, Queens. The  commercial farming venture, Brooklyn Grange, makes the case for urban farming throughout the city. If you’re interested in trying some of their produce, you can find them at Roberta’s Farmer’s Market on Sundays, 261 Moore Street, Brooklyn, 11-5pm.
