Cause of Fatal Fire Still Under Investigation

Fire officials continue to investigate the cause of a fire in Midwood that killed an 8 year-old boy and injured five of his siblings late Wednesday evening, the Wall Street Journal is reporting. While no cause has yet been discovered, the fire does not appear to be suspicious. Avigdor Krasny, 8, died when he became trapped on the third floor of the home. One sibling, his 1 year-old sister, is still listed in critical condition at Staten Island University Hospital North. The other four siblings have been upgraded to stable condition, the Wall Street Journal reports.
