Lonnie Quinn, popular CBS weathercaster, will receive the honor at the Cobble HIll Health Center’s annual fundraiser, the Brooklyn Eagle reports. The event, schedule for Nov. 4 at Stage 6 (Steiner Studios) in Brooklyn, will also recognize Dr. John LaRosa of SUNY Downstate Medical Center, known for his research on the role cholesterol, hormones, and diet play in heart disease. The 30-year-old not-for-profit health center provides long and short term health care for disabled and elderly New Yorkers.
