A new bus line that directly connects Brooklyn with Washington, D.C. debuts on Friday, Brendan Spiegel of The New York Times writes.

The line will be operated by Know It Express and will connect travelers from Atlantic Terminal in Brooklyn to U Street in Washington. Unlike other New York-to-D.C. buses, Know It Express will completely bypass Manhattan.

Already, the line has earned the moniker the ‘Hipster Highway’ because it targets “young travelers looking to eschew Times Square and the National Mall for Brooklyn Flea and U Street’s indie music venues.”

Know It Express buses will run Friday to Monday in both direction, and will cost $20 for a one-way trip.
