Brooklyn’s representatives in the City Council fared modestly in a report released by the Human Rights Project today. The non-profit evaluates New York Council Members’ voting record on issues like legislation for tenants and landlords, workers rights and support for public health initiatives.

Jumanee Williams from the Flatbush area was the only Brooklynite awarded an A plus, while 10 of the borough’s 16 Council Members earned Bs and B minuses.    David Greenfield from Disitrict 44 –Bensonhurst- was the lowest graded of the pack with a C.  Several Council Members failed to return a questionnaire on their human rights policies which was sent to them by the organization.
