Chilling video confession in murder of WABC newsman

In the murder case of WABC radio newsman George Weber, a jury watched a video of a 16-year old’s chilling account of the murder.

John Katehis, now 17, is on trial for Weber’s murder in Brooklyn court. In the video, Katehis claims it was an accident, saying, “It was a gig, he wanted someone to smother him.” Katehis said that he answered Weber’s ad on Craiglist for rough sex, and that Weber gave him beer and cocaine before prior to the incident. He goes into brutal detail, saying, “The knife just goes and jabs him in the neck. We’re fighting over the blade and it jabbed him in the neck.” However, a doctor testified that Weber was stabbed eight times in the neck, in addition to several other areas on his body.
