Attempted Salon Robber Caught, Officer Promoted

Attempted robber Winston Cox, 19, was arrested by police after his unsuccessful robbery of the hair salon, Sabine’s Hallway, according to the New York Daily News. As reported earlier, NYPD Officer Ferris Jones was there at the scene getting her hair done. She identified herself as a police officer after he entered the salon, and shot Cox in the arm after he fired three shots. She will be promoted to a detective today.
