A wrongful death lawsuit was filed yesterday by the family of a Brooklyn girl who died after an asthma attack .
According to the family’s lawyer, the suit is also against the New York City Police Department and the officer who, according to the family, did nothing to save the girl.
A rally was held on the steps of the Brooklyn Supreme Court in support of the bill that will honor the girl, by mandating that all police officers be annually trained and recertified in CPR. Read more.
