Voters in Park Slope endured a 35 minute delay at M.S. 51, the intermediate school at 350 Fifth Ave, The Brooklyn Ink’s Faaria Kherani reports. Poll workers could not get the new scanning machines up and running in time and several voters were late to work as a result, causing frustration for the constituents. According to the NYC Board of Elections, these delays are expected when a change in the polls is implemented. The Board says they are doing everything they can to improve the situation.
