New York residents voted to limit politicians to two consecutive terms on Election Day despite Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s efforts to push for three terms, reported The New York Times. According to the article, it was the third time since 1993 that residents endorsed the notion of two four-year terms for the mayor and other elected officials.
