Even though he doesn’t officially take office as New York’s governor until Jan. 1, governor-elect Andrew Cuomo is already beginning to prepare for his upcoming duties during his transitional period after the election, reported The New York Times. According to the article, Cuomo expects property taxes and ethics legislation to be two of the most difficult battles on the budget during his time in office; thus, he is dedicating much of his attention to resolving these issues.
