Suspect Shot by Cop After Window Smashing

Police say that an officer shot a man this morning in Brighton Beach, after the man smashed the windshield of a police vehicle with a large rock. The man’s name has not been released, but he is said to be in stable condition after being shot once in the shoulder after a confrontation and an ensuing scuffle, the police said.
