South Brooklyn rules when measuring the size of the largest homes in the borough, according to a top 10 list reported by the blog Brownstoner. The information comes from the real estate portal Property Shark.
The biggest residence on the list is a former waterfront home constructed in 1847. It´s a 29,126 square-foot, Greek Revival wood home known as the James Farrell Residence. It sits on 119 95th Street in Bay Ridge. The smallest, relatively speaking, is a 12,196 square feet Midwood home, built in 2003.
