Whole Foods has planned a location in Brooklyn, The Brownstoner reports. The store will be located at the corner of 3rd Street and 3rd Avenue in Gowanus. The 52,000 square-foot store will house a 20,000 square-foot green house and a 40-foot public esplanade. It will have recharging stations for electric-powered vehicles and spaces for bike parking, Whole Foods’ northeast region executive construction coordinator, Mark Mobley said. No date is set for the opening of the store, but it is approximated that 350 new jobs will be created.
