Two P.S. 119 students, Nairan Saint Phard and Jeremiah Hyde, received an award today for a rap song they wrote and filmed for an anti-bullying video contest promoted by the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office.

Saint Phard and Hyde now get to be district attorneys for the day.  An excellent prize since both boys one day plan to be lawyers, reports NY1.

The two boys performed their song at the award ceremony and hope that students take it to heart. “If you are being bullied, you should take our advice and tell the people who are bullying you for them to stop and encourage them and tell them not to bully,” said Hyde.

The DA’s office says the bullying video contest was so successful that they plan to make it an annual event.
