Popular throughout Asia, the night market concept has yet to catch on in much of North America. But this Sunday, at least, you’ll be able to shop till midnight when the Brooklyn Night Bazaar comes to Brooklyn.
According to culture and events blog Brooklyn Based, the one-night-only event will feature dozens of independent food vendors, a beer and wine garden, an art installation and live musical performances from YACHT, Monogold and more.
It will be held from 5 p.m. to midnight on Oct. 9 at Dekalb Market, an outdoor space in downtown Brooklyn. The event will be free and open to the public, except for the live music area, which will be ticketed.
