Officials to break ground on $30M renovation of Strand Theater

Today, city officials will start a $30 million renovation of Strand Theater in Fort Greene, which was originally built in 1918. Estimated to be finished in 2013, the renovations include three galleries, a television studio, an artist performance/work space, and a glass working facility.
