Home Live Wire NYPD Arrests Second Suspect Related to Brooklyn Sex Crimes

Early Monday morning the NYPD nabbed a second suspect linked to a series of sexual assaults in Brooklyn, according to a DCPI report.

Police say Queens resident Joshua Flecha, 32, was arrested for criminal possession of marijuana and was later identified during a Special Victims lineup as the same man who groped a woman and exposed himself to her at the 7th avenue and 9th street F subway station on May 7th.

Police thought Flecha was up to something when they first saw him on Greenwood Avenue between East 4th and East 5th streets at 2:30 a.m., and then again walking slowly around a line of parked cars on 17th street between 10th and 11th avenues at 3:15 a.m.  Thinking he was going to break into one of the vehicles, the cops made him put his hands on one of the parked cars.  Flecha’s pants were unzipped and a pornographic video was playing on his cell phone.  The cops noticed that he matched the suspect sketch for the May 7th incident.
