Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment has signed a multiyear deal with AEG Facilities to provide operational support at the Barclays Center, the New Jersey Nets’ arena under construction in Brooklyn. AEG Facilities operates over a 100 venues worldwide, including the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The Nets move marked the return of a major sports team to Brooklyn, which has been absent since the departure of the Dodgers to Los Angeles in 1957.
The 4.9 billion dollar arena will be fully operational for the start of the Nets 2012-13 season.
