In a previous live wire story, we wrote that two cats were saved in a fire in a Brooklyn Park residence. Our sharp-eyed Olivia Waxman pointed out that the fire happened in Minnesota’s Brooklyn, not The Brooklyn we all love. We are very sorry about this.
Instead of simply correcting it, we have decided to just go along with the mistake and present you with a second story from another Brooklyn, Ohio’s Brooklyn:
A voter in Cuyahoga County said his nose was bitten in an Election Day scuffle. The victim, Greg Flanagan, told NewsChannel5 that he tried to step in during an argument between a woman and a man. The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections confirmed that something did happen, but did not provide specifics. Police are trying to find a James Norm Williams, the man who allegedly bit Flanagan’s nose.
