An upcoming TEDx Event, themed ‘To redefine “Better” will take place on Friday, December 2 at the Brooklyn Bowl. The venue is the world’s first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified bowling alley, using resources more efficently in comparison to conventional buildings.
TEDxBrooklyn will host a series of speakers, music, and art exhibits. Among the speakers in the event are Blake Whitman, Creative Development VP of Vimeo; Farai Chideya, public radio host; and Chad Dickerson, CEO of Etsy, the net’s most prosperous flea market. Tickets go on sale Thursday, November 10, at 10 am.
