Former Mets Player Accepts New Position

In hopes to get to Citi-Field and coach the New York Mets, former Brooklyn Cyclones coach Wally Backman has accepted a minor league position as coach of the Buffalo Bisons, according to the Brooklyn Eagle. This will be Backman’s third time with a different organization. By accepting this position, Backman will not be considered for a coaching position of the Washington Nationals.
