Democratic Assemblyman Williams Boyland Jr. was in court again on Tuesday, charged with soliciting bribes for more than $250,000 from undercover FBI agents in exchange for favors.
Boyland, however, claims he cannot afford to pay for his own defense, so he’s sending the bill to taxpayers. The same court-appointed, legal team will represent the democrat at $125-per hour.
