Eight-year-old Armando Vigo who was shot outside a deli in Soundview last week has returned to his home and is heeling well, the NY1 reports.
Vigo was released from hospital on Monday with a bullet still lodged in his shoulder and claims not to remember the shooting.
The suspect, 15-year-old Eduardo Rodriguez, has been arrested on attempted murder, assault and weapons charges but investigators believe that the incident was part of an ongoing rival gang dispute.
