A Brooklyn woman wins $17.9 million dollar lawsuit after being misdiagnosed by a Brooklyn hospital in 2008. Tabitha Mullings developed a sepsis infection, which caused her to fall into a coma. While in a coma both her hands and feet were amputated. Shortly after Mullings filed a lawsuit against the Brooklyn hospital and New York City.
