Just as Goldman-Sachs and the New York City Economic Development Corporation hoped for in their joint Food Manufacturing initiative, food start-ups are reviving manufacturing in Brooklyn.
Acumen Capital Parnters bought an eight-acre site from Pfizer last year for $26 million and has begun leasing parcels out to local food businesses, including McClure’s Pickles and Brooklyn Soda Works.
