FEMA drew new flood-risks zones maps in Red Hook and Gowanus

FEMA recently published expanded flood-risk zones in Red Hook and Gowanus to their Advisory Base Flood Elevations maps. The maps show now a more current picture of flood risk for areas that were affected by Hurricane Sandy. The map won’t be in use for another one year or two however.
