A psychiatric patient was beaten to the death in a high-security behavioral health services ward of a hospital in Brooklyn on Tuesday night.
According to the police, the assault occurred inside a bathroom of the Interfaith Medical Center. The 47-year-old victim and the accused, a 20-year-old man that has been taken into custody, were both patients in Interfaith’s psychiatric ward, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
