The Barclays Center will host the 30th annual MTV award show on Sunday Aug. 25th. It is the first time any award show has taken place in the borough. The network released the news on Monday by publishing, via social media, eight photos of the classic VMA Moonman (based on the image of Neil Armstrong’s 1969 lunar walk).
