Home Arts & Culture [VIDEO] Edible Jewelry: Glitterlimes made in Greenpoint

Debbie Tuch created Glitterlimes jewelry seventeen years ago when she was studying at the Rhode Island School of Design. Today, she scours the globe for interesting fruits and candy to turn into jewelry in her Greenpoint, Brooklyn studio.

She uses everything from nuts and crackers to candies and fruit — every piece she makes was originally edible. Her signature piece is called a Glitterlime: a dried, preserved lime that is coated in glitter resin and made into a pendant or a brooch.
