Ebbets Field, home to the Dodgers when their title still started with Brooklyn, opened its doors for the first time 100 years ago today. Demolished in 1960, Ebbets Field was the sight of the first break in baseball’s color barrier, with Jackie Robinson taking the field as a Dodger April 15, 1947.
